Thought I'd get in another post before the year is out so I can have a whopping 3 for 2011! This is the cover(mock-up)of a sketchbook I'm going to be producing for 2012. The plan is to have available for the Spectrum Live event.

Off to a roaring start in 2011! I finally decided to post something on this blog. Here is a figure study from life, 11 x 14 mixed media.

A little painting I did. Watercolor on Premium matte photo paper, 8 1/2 x 11.

Nosferatu?

Well it's been a while so I guess I should get something up here... This is not a finished piece but a painting I did that was quickly altered in photoshop, I'll post the final when its done. It's not meant to be Nosferatu but if you ask me it looks a bit like him.

Figure Studies

A few recent figure studies. Actually the one in ball point is just a sketch from memory. The color piece was done using black, burnt sienna and hansa yellow, it was a 20 minute pose. I forgot all my other paints.

Here is some recent figure stuff I did. Two are 10-20 minute acrylics and a drawing in black and red pencil. The model was shifting quite a bit so I had to work fast.
