Oil painting in progress. I  have one more session with the model and will post the finished painting next week. I'll be adding some highlights, working on the halftones, adding detail to her hands and basically slathering a bunch more paint on it .Of course there is always the potential of ruining it too!

Sketchbook on order!

Well, I finally got my sketchbook ordered, hopefully I'll see it in a week or so baring any problems. Here is the cover and a few additional images from it.

These are some sketches of mine that will be in my forthcoming sketchbook. I'm pulling most of these from various drawing pads I have strewn throughout the house. Encounter

Here's a few drawings from the model I did recently. I'm messing around a bit with colored pencils and whatever else happens to be on hand. The more developed drawings are in the 15-20 minute range. I'll also be posting some paintings that I'm working on soon.
